What's New in StreamerCatalyst v1.5.0

We are excited to roll out v1.5.0! This major update focuses on empowering you to monetize your community more effectively, driving deeper engagement through enhanced widgets, and making your management tools more intuitive.

💰 New Ways to Support Your Channel

The biggest addition in this release is the ability to handle direct support and charitable giving with ease.

Direct Tipping

You can now accept tips directly through StreamerCatalyst. Using our new Tipping module, viewers can support you from a dedicated public page powered by Stripe.

  • Direct Payouts: Money goes straight to your Stripe account—StreamerCatalyst takes no cut of your tips.
  • Goal Integration: Tips can automatically drive your goal widgets, turning every donation into a visual celebration for your stream.

Charity Donation Tracking

Running a charity campaign? Twitch charity campaigns now automatically drive your Numbers metrics, goal widgets, the subathon timer/ladder, reward rules, and various other widgets. This ensures your community’s generosity is reflected across your entire broadcast ecosystem.

We’ve overhauled our interactive tools to give you more granular control over how your community interacts with your stream.

Rebuilt Widget Editor

Customizing your stream just got a lot easier. The Widget editor has been completely redesigned with a unified panel, categorized test events to help you preview looks, and a “tour” to get you up to speed. We’ve also added version history (with diffs) and a safety warning to prevent accidental loss of unsaved edits.

Advanced Subathon & Wheelspin Tools

  • Subathon Upgrades: Your subathon timer is now more powerful, counting follows, raids, and sub-tier multipliers. You can also define specific event windows for your goals.
  • Wheelspin Improvements: Make your giveaways more dynamic. Wheelspin items now take per-item weights (drawn to scale on the wheel), and you can now trigger a spin via a channel point redemption.
  • Leaderboard Updates: The leaderboard widget now includes a tips metric, a configurable week-long window, and rotation intervals.

💬 Smarter Chat & Moderation

Managing your community is more streamlined than ever with improvements to our chat and automation tools.

Chatters Redesign

The Chatters module has been redesigned into five easy-to-navigate tabbed pages. We’ve also added URL-based tab support, so you can use your browser’s back button or link directly to specific views within the dashboard.

Automated Chat & Moderation

  • Filtered Auto Chats: You can now filter Auto Chats by stream category, ensuring messages only trigger for the specific game you are currently playing.
  • Smart Shoutouts: A new native shoutout queue is available in Chatters, which can also be populated by Modomation auto-shoutouts.
  • Follow Triggers: You can now set Modomation rules to trigger specifically when someone follows your channel.

📊 AI-Powered Analytics

Stop digging through spreadsheets to find your stats. You can now use the command palette to ask questions about your own analytics. By leveraging our AI persona, you can get instant answers about your channel’s data through simple text queries.
