What's New in StreamerCatalyst v1.4.0

We are excited to announce the release of v1.4.0! This update introduces a brand-new way to accept tips, interactive new widgets to help you gamify your stream, and major upgrades to our subathon tools.

💸 New: Tipping Module

You can now accept tips directly through StreamerCatalyst using our new Tipping module. This feature is powered by Stripe and provides a professional, streamlined way to monetize your community.

• Public Tip Page: Share a dedicated link where supporters can send tips via card.
• Easy Onboarding: Get set up quickly and securely through Stripe Connect Express.
• Complete Control: Manage everything from a new Tipping dashboard, including your transaction history, goal progress, and payment settings. You can also configure how fees are handled and allow tippers to remain anonymous or verify their Twitch names.
• Deep Integration: Tips are a core part of the ecosystem. They trigger rewards, appear in your chat, count toward your Numbers metrics, and render automatically in your alerts, tickers, and Activity feed.

🎡 New Interactive Widgets

Engagement is at the heart of every great stream. We’ve added two new native widgets to the Widgets module to help you drive viewer interaction.

Wheelspin

Add a “spin-to-win” element to your broadcast! The Wheelspin widget can be triggered manually by your chat using the !spin command, or you can configure it to fire automatically when you receive bits, gifts, or tips.

Subathon Tools

For streamers running long-term events, we have significantly overhauled our subathon capabilities:

• Subathon Goals: A new “goal ladder” overlay that stays in sync with your active tipping goals. You can even configure the widget to add bonus time to your timer whenever a goal is unlocked.
• Upgraded Subathon Timer: The timer is more precise and customizable than ever. It now supports:
  • A classic H:M:S time display.
  • Custom titles for your event.
  • Fractional minutes and per-minute amounts for precise timing.
  • Time additions triggered by tips.
  • A maximum time cap to keep your event within your planned limits.

🛠️ Streamer Quality of Life Improvements

We’ve also introduced several refinements to give you more control over your broadcast experience:

• Alert Pacing: New controls allow you to manage how alerts appear to ensure they don’t overwhelm your screen.
• Reward “Once” Mode: You can now cap lower-tier earnings by using “once” mode, preventing certain rewards from triggering too frequently.
• Improved Reliability: This release includes critical fixes to ensure Stripe payments settle reliably, the Subathon timer counts contributions accurately, and all widgets—including Wheelspin—render with smooth, polished visuals.
